🔥 How does Priority Shipping work?

We ship through USPS, which offers First Class and Priority Mail.
When you choose Priority Shipping, it does NOT mean you’ll get your order within two days of placing it.

Priority simply means:

USPS estimates delivery within 1–3 days after they receive and scan your package.

If USPS takes longer than their estimate, it’s outside our control — but our promise to you is to get your package into their hands as quickly as possible.

🔥 Why is my order stuck in “Pre-Shipment”?

We print shipping labels before packing orders.
That means your order will show “Pre-Shipment” until USPS actually scans it into their system.

Sometimes USPS does not scan packages immediately or occasionally not until it reaches the next postal facility.

Totally normal.
Totally annoying.
Totally nothing to worry about.

🔥 How fast will I receive my order?

Normally we move fast but during higher volume periods, processing can reach 7–10 business days.

Keep in mind:

  • Alley Cat Beard Co is a two-man operation with one-man shipping

  • We ship in the order received

  • Unexpected delays sometimes happen

  • We do our best to keep customers updated

We always ship as quickly as we can without sacrificing product quality.

🔥 Why didn’t I get my confirmation or shipping email?

Before messaging us, please check your:

  • Spam

  • Junk

  • Promotions folders

Nine times out of ten, that’s where your confirmation or tracking email is hiding.

Absolutely.
We love keeping things exciting, so we run:

🔥 Can I get a refund or exchange products?

Refunds on non-apparel products are handled case-by-case.

However:

  • Limited Edition items are final sale — no refunds, no exchanges.

Yes, we use both fragrance oils and essential oils, depending on the scent profile.

Important clarification:

  • We do not claim to make our own fragrance oils

  • Creating fragrance oil requires a lab, chemists, and strict regulations

  • We only purchase from high-quality, reputable suppliers

We blend oils together to create unique scents and sometimes use single-note fragrance or essential oils when they shine on their own.
